2026-2027 No-Spills Education and Training Scholarship 

​Eligibility
Staff from tribal governments and local emergency planning committees located in the State of Michigan.

What is the funding for?
Workshop training and/or conference attendance for sessions focused on environmental emergency management. 
 
How to Apply?
Submit the following:
1. Workshop training and/or conference title with location, dates, and copy of conference agenda
2. Purpose of the training and why you are interested in attending.
3. A detailed budget including conference fees and travel fees (overnight lodging, meals and mileage).
4. Name, organization, title, phone number and email address of attendee(s) - Multiple attendees from a single organization may apply.

Application Timeframe
Open now through December 31, 2026, for future trainings - no retroactive reimbursements allowed.

*Funds are limited and will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis for conferences and trainings occurring during the 2026/2027 calendar year.  Due to limited funding, conference registration fees will be considered priority over travel costs (lodging, meals, mileage). Funds may only be provided to cover registration fees for the event.
